Sorry to said this and vent a bit, but I dislike both. I find them to be filthy noisy pest. Nice to play with someone else's a bit, but not to have.
Also I am sick of the mainstream cat vs dog thing and going on and on and on about cats and dogs like there are the only good pet to have around. I am completely sick of it. I would like hear about the numerous different other pets. 
I prefer reptile pets like lizards. I even have a box turtle. 
But I like a lot of mammals like ferrets, foxes, short-tailed possum, capybara,  capybara, wallaby, and hedgehogs (some of which I would like to have as a pet).
sorry, but I just hate almost being forced into society's "A or B"
